The Most Beautiful Wedding Venues in Iowa for Timeless, Elegant Photos

As an Iowa wedding photographer, these are some of my absolute favorite venues across the state. I chose each of these locations not only for their beauty, but for how well they photograph, especially when it comes to natural light. Many of these spaces truly have it all: indoor getting-ready areas, beautiful ceremony locations, and spacious reception spaces.

From Des Moines wedding venues to hidden gems near Iowa City, Dubuque, West Branch, and Davenport, these locations offer a wide range of aesthetics for every couple. I’ve also included inspiration for couples planning weddings in Galena—this list is full of incredible venues with so much potential for stunning wedding photography in Iowa.
